Our Urgent/Primary Care practice offers immigration physicals, catering to individuals seeking immigration or visa approval. These comprehensive exams ensure compliance with immigration requirements by assessing the applicant's health status and confirming they meet the necessary medical standards for entry into the destination country. The physical typically includes a thorough medical history review, physical examination, and screening for communicable diseases. Additionally, necessary vaccinations may be administered to fulfill immigration mandates. These exams are conducted by qualified healthcare professionals who provide the required documentation to support the immigration process, facilitating a smooth transition for individuals relocating to a new country.
I-693 Immigration physicals are a crucial step in your journey towards adjusting immigration status or obtaining a visa. As mandated by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), these exams are designed to uphold the health standards essential for entry into the United States. During your visit, our licensed physicians will conduct a thorough medical history review, perform a comprehensive physical examination, and administer any required vaccinations. Rest assured, your results will be meticulously documented on Form I-693, ready for submission to USCIS.
For certain driving jobs like commercial truck driving, a DOT physical is necessary to ensure that you’re physically fit enough to operate the vehicle. The Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination must be conducted by a licensed “medical examiner” listed on the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) National Registry. The term includes Doctor of Chiropractic.
Due to the variety of medical professionals who are eligible to perform DOT physicals, drivers have a wide selection of practices to choose from. Instead of waiting for long periods of time to see your primary physician and spending more money than necessary to receive a DOT physical, we will do our best to provide you a same-day appointment with little to no wait time.
Request AppointmentWelcome to our Urgent/Primary Care Practice, where we prioritize your health and well-being. As part of our comprehensive services, we are proud to offer Department of Transportation Physicals to ensure the safety and fitness of commercial drivers. Our experienced healthcare professionals understand the importance of these evaluations in maintaining regulatory compliance and ensuring the safety of drivers and others on the road. With a commitment to efficiency and thoroughness, we provide DOT Physicals with care and expertise, offering convenience and peace of mind for commercial drivers seeking to fulfill their regulatory requirements. Trust us to deliver exceptional healthcare services, including DOT Physicals, with professionalism and compassion.
Once you arrive at your appointment, you will need to complete the necessary Department of Transportation paperwork. We will then administer a hearing and vision test. Next, we will examine you according to the areas listed on the DOT physical form. Lastly, we will need you to supply a urine sample. Please note that the urine sample won’t be used for drug testing but for medical examination only. Drug testing is sometimes required along with a DOT physical by certain employers, but we do not perform any drug testing in the office due to different employer policies. When we’ve completed your physical, we will give you a copy and also send a copy to your employer. If you pass the physical, we will issue a Medical Examiner’s Certificate valid for up to two years.
If you are in need of a DOT physical to obtain a CDL or need to maintain your current CDL, contact us (214) 453-2550 for more information or to schedule an appointment today.

It is important to highlight that X-rays are not used universally in chiropractic care. In most patients, the chiropractor is able to determine what is occurring in the musculoskeletal system without the need for imaging technology. X-rays are usually reserved for the more severe cases in which there may be a serious condition present such as scoliosis, osteoporosis, or spinal stenosis.
As a general guideline, X-rays are recommended in the following cases:

What are the benefits of Ultrasound Therapy?
Ultrasound therapy has been known to increase tissue relaxation, stimulate local blood flow and aid in scar tissue breakdown. Local blood flow has been known to help reduce swelling and chronic inflammation by delivering more nutrients to the infected area. The treatments may help reduce stiffness, swelling and pain while increasing circulation and promoting a pain-free movement. While studies are still being done to test the effectiveness of these treatments, many people find them helpful in reducing pain and speeding the healing process. While ultrasound therapy is not effective for all chronic pain, it may help reduce your pain if you suffer from any of the following conditions:
